How do I clean my Kivo?

How to Properly Clean Your Kivo Devices

Maintaining your Kivo red light therapy devices is essential for ensuring longevity and optimal performance. Since these are electronic devices, extra care should be taken when cleaning to prevent damage. Below are the best cleaning practices for each type of Kivo product.

Cleaning Kivo Red Light Panels

Kivo panels have a front surface made of acrylic, which requires gentle cleaning to avoid scratches or damage. We recommend using a laptop or screen-safe spray along with a soft microfiber cloth that is free from dust and contaminants. Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the panel—instead, lightly spray the cloth and then wipe the front surface. Using chemical or abrasive cleaners may damage the panel and invalidate the warranty.

For the frame and back of the panel for the Vital, Elite, Pro, and Ultra series of panel, simply wipe down with a microfibre cloth and a small amount of liquid soap

Important: Never allow liquid to enter the passive cooling holes, sockets, control panel, or any electronic components. Moisture in these areas can be dangerous and will void the warranty.

Cleaning Kivo Red Light Masks & Necks

Kivo LED masks and neck panels are made from durable, food-safe silicone with a soft plastic protector. To clean:

1. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe down both sides of the mask.

2. For stubborn stains or marks, apply a tiny amount of Dawn dish soap onto a damp cloth and gently clean the surface.

3. Do not fully submerge the mask or expose it to excessive moisture, as this may damage the internal electronics.

4. We do not recommend alcohol based sprays or sanitizing solution as this can melt the thin plastic cover on the inside of the mask.

By following these cleaning guidelines, you can keep your Kivo devices in excellent condition and ensure they remain safe and effective for long-term use.
