How to use your Kivo Mask
Your Kivo Mask comes with a protective sanitary film, if you are trying this for size and use, please keep this film on. Masks can only be returned for a refund if this film has not been removed.
Unpack all of the components of your Kivo Mask and lay them out
Remove the protective film
Squeeze the two protective eye pieces into place, note the correct orientation of each eye piece
Affix the headband. With the LED's positioned up, note the velcro square patch that joins at the back of your head goes on the underneath left hand side, so it positioned on the outside of your headband and doesn't trap hair. With this orientation, the tabs for the mask velcro face up.

Affix the other side and test fit, both sides of the head band should align and the velcro patch will attach to both sides to keep everything in place
If you have a Kivo Neck attachment, attach the tabs in the same orientation as the face mask, noting the position of the Velcro patch on the left side
This is the controller and charging cable for your mask. It will come pre-charged, and we recommend charging it overnight before each use to ensure a healthy battery life.
Please note: use care when inserting the cable into the underside of the controller, ensure you don't force the charging tip into the controller. Use gentle pressure.
Each of the USB-C cables for the mask and neck can be inserted into the top of the controller.
Hold down the POWER BUTTON on the top left of the controller to switch on the mask. It will default to RED LIGHT on.

Bottom Left: Increase Timer
Bottom Right: Decrease Timer
You can cycle through the COLOUR MODES to enable the specific wavelength of light (see LIGHT WAVELENGTH GUIDE for light therapy recommendations)
Red Light: To help increase skin tone, repair skin, reduce wrinkles
Red Light + NIR
Helps improve skin tone and wrinkles, repairing skin damage, healing damage, stimulates cell mitochondria to produce ATP and Collagen.
Blue Light
Blue Light helps kill bacteria, fungal, and virus cells, reducing acne and the effects of spots, cysts, psoriasis etc.
Yellow / Amber Light (590nm)
Yellow light has shallow penetration and is effective to help reduce skin redness, and the effects of Melasmia. It is best known for skin cell rejuvenation and its soothing anti-inflammatory benefits. It also boosts lymphatic flow, which removes toxins and waste from the skin, and promotes anti-aging.
Use your Kivo Mask daily, for 10 minutes per wavelength of light. You will experience results after 21 days of use. Guaranteed.

You can clean your mask by using our Kivo Cleaning Spray + Cloth, or by using a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any alcohol based cleaners, do not use abrasive clothes, do not immerse in water - it will damage this electronic device.

No, the USB-C ports on the controller are solely for face or face + neck cables and cannot charge the controller.
If your charger is within the warranty period, contact us, and we'll be happy to organize a replacement. If it's outside of the warranty period, or if you've damaged your controller, or if you simply want an extra one - they're available in our store.
