First Use

Charge the Kivo Mini overnight, and for a minimum of 8 hours. The mini can be used 2-3 times before another full recharge is needed. If the device switches off after being switched on again, there is insufficient charge.

How to use your Kivo Mini

Your Kivo Mini comes complete with a travel case, charging cable, and stand.

It's important when you first use your Kivo Mini that you full charge the battery to properly condition the battery and for long-term battery health.

To charge your Kivo, you must use the included USB-C to USB-A charging cable. USB-C to USB-C cables will not work. The USB-A charging block must output 5v 2amps.

With the Kivo Mini LED's facing towards you there are 2 buttons on the top.

The right button should be depressed for 2-3 seconds to switch the unit on.

The left button controls 3 levels of brightness.

When you switch the Kivo Mini on, and automatic timer will be enabled for 30 minutes. We recommend limiting usage to 10 minutes per area - the Mini will treat 3 areas and then switch off.

The unit charge will allow 3 x 30 minute sessions before requiring a full recharge.

Therapeutic Applications

We recommend a maximum of 10 minutes per day, per area using the Kivo Mini, with a day off every 6th day at a distance of 3-6 inches (7 to 15 cm).

For facial wrinkles, you must use our Kivo googles. Our devices are extremely powerful and could cause eye issues or damage if you do not use googles.

Point the Kivo Mini at a wall to provide ambient light in the morning and evening, that will help with sleep and to block blue light. Ambient Near Infra-Red light can help alleviate anxiety and improve mental health.

Frequently Asked Questions

The device requires to be charged using the enclosed USB-C to USB-A cable. It cannot be charged using USB-C to USB-C cables. Recharge the device overnight, and make sure your charging block is switched on.

At present, the device can only use both RED and NEAR INFRARED light at the same time.

At present, the device will show a 30 minute timer. We recommend limiting usage to 10 minute segments per area of the body for optimal usage and results. Over-using Red Light Therapy can lead to a delay in outcomes.

When you use the included USB-C to USB-A cable and the Kivo Mini, the red light will blink slowly to indicate it is charging correctly.

When it is fully charged the light will stop blinking and remain on.

When you remove the cable, a green light will show it's fully charged

You cannot use a USB-C to USB-C cable to charge this device at present.
