Why does it look like my device has been opened?

Your Kivo device may look like it's been opened.. because it has! Our strict Quality Assurance guidelines mean that every single device that leaves our shipping facility meets our 10 steps for Quality.

  1. Is built correctly and with no manufacturing defects.
  2. Is securely packaged during transportation from our production facility.
  3. Is stored correctly in our warehouse.
  4. When required for shipment, the device is retrieved, and is opened individually and checked to make sure your device includes all the accessories, and the correct panel.
  5. The panel is switched on for a substantial period of time as a "burn-in test" to ensure operation.
  6. All options on the device are checked for correct functionality.
  7. All LED's are checked for full operation.
  8. All control interfaces are checked.
  9. Once it is confirmed everything meets our high standards, the device is individually serialized and assigned to your customer profile.
  10. Your device is packaged and prepared for shipment or pickup.

This ultra high quality standard minimizes the inconvenience of an incorrect shipment, or equipment having malfunctions when it first arrives - no-one wants that!
