Treatment Protocol
Using BLUE wavelengths of light in our PRO SERIES and MASKS to kill the bacteria that causes acne, and then red and near infrared to help heal your skin afterwards, helps your body to get out of the cycle of infection and into the cycle of healing.
- In the morning, clean your skin of all products and oils using your favourite skin cleanser.
- Use your Kivo device blue light option:
- PRO Series - select blue wavelength only on 100% power. Sit in front of the panel with googles on for 10 minutes, do not allow anyone else to look at the blue light, and do not use without googles. You can use this anywhere on your body. Place the panel 3-6 inches away.
- MASKS - Select the blue light option using the M button on your controller and use on your face (or with your neck + chest option remove or use if acne is located on your neck or chest), use for 15 minutes.
- Wipe the skin of any sweat
- Use your Kivo device red + near-infrared option:
- PRO Series - select the RED and NIR option on 100% power. Sit in front of the panel will googles on for 10 minutes, do not use without googles. Place the panel 3-6 inches away.
- MASKS - Select the red light option using the M button on your controller, and press the NIR option. Use for 15 minutes.
- We recommend showering afterwards and scrubbing your skin with your favourite skin scrub and moisturize as you would normally do.
- Repeat this every day for 5 days. On the 6th day take a break.
- By week 3 you should see a significant difference - you can then use blue light once per week, and then just red light + NIR for the other 4 days. Take a break on the 6th day.
